When they lay together that night, they just held each other close, rejoicing in each other's warmth the same way they had when they lay together for the first time in the dark underground tomb. That first time, all they needed was the knowledge of their love to fulfill them. Tonight they had that and the bond between them as well, knitting them together mind to mind, heart to heart. That first night, and many nights thereafter, when either or both were too tired to do more than hold each other, love was enough.
